Longing for the beach? That fresh ocean smell, watching the waves roll in and the sun set in all the colors of the sky? While you're (im)patiently waiting until Bali's borders are re-opening, we listed some of our favorite beach hotels in The Netherlands. 1. Poort Beach Apartments, Bloemendaal aan Zee
I recently stayed at Poort Beach Apartments for a long weekend with Manua and the hubby and we had the most magical time. Sunsets are a dream and the beach is just out front. Beach clubs and restaurants (our favorite Republiek Bloemendaal is just a few steps away!) are open again, so you can fully enjoy the best of the beach. The apartment is kids friendly and big enough if you also still need to get some work done.

2. Strandhotel Cadzand-Bad
Our Dutch coasts are incredibly pretty. Especially at Cadzand-Bad, all the way down south. Strandhotel is a luxury hotel, and perfect for you if you love food, surf, long beach walks and beautiful nature. There are a few restaurants to enjoy, of which also one by Michelin star chef Sergio Herman.

3. Maris Apartments
If you're looking for a perfect beach Holiday, with all the luxury around, Maris Apartments at Egmond aan Zee is your go-to spot. Waking up to a breathtaking view over the ocean, going out for a surf, swim or walk on the beach and after that big breakfast on your apartment terrace.

4. Kijkduin, Strand huisjes
A picture like this doesn't need any words. Sleep right on the sand in your own tiny beach house. All beach houses have 2 bedrooms, so it's also perfect for families with kids or if you'd like to go for a magical beach escape with friends.

5. Buddha Beach Bungalows
Right on the vibrant beach in Zandvoort you'll find these cute beach houses, with ocean view terrace and private little beach out front. Side note, it's an adult only stay! Surf spots are just out front and nice beach clubs (like Hippiefish, one of our favorites!) and restaurants are all around. You can also use the tennis court close by or go biking or walking in the beautiful Zuid Kennemerland National Park.

6. Strandhotel Zoomers
Vacation vibes all over. This gorgeous beach hotel is located near Amsterdam at Castricum aan Zee. Rooms are gorgeously decorated with HK Living products, so after your little staycation you might want to redecorate your own home as well!

7. Villa Parnassia, Bergen aan Zee
If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, you'll love Villa Parnassia. Hidden in the dunes and only steps away from the beach, these apartments are the perfect setup for a relaxed time. We love the surroundings of Bergen aan Zee, you can walk or bike for hours in beautiful nature. In Summertime you can also use the pool and restaurant at Strandhotel Nassau Bergen (same owners). If you don't need a whole apartment, you can also book a room at Strandhotel Nassau Bergen.
